Senate District 28 Special Election -- May 14

There will be a special election to replace the late Senator Dennis Stowell (Senate District 28)
Saturday, May 14, 6 p.m. (Registration at 4:30 p.m. and a chance to meet some of the candidates)

Great Hall, Hunter Conference Center, Southern Utah University (351 W Center Center St, Cedar City)

State Republican Delegates from this district will select a replacement to fill the seat through December 2012.

Important Notes
  • Candidates must file in writing with the Utah Republican Party by Friday, May 6, 2011 at 5 p.m.
  • Deadline to replace delegates is Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 5 p.m.
  • Pursuant to State Code and UTGOP Rules, delegates will use majority voting method to elect a replacement whose name will be submitted to the Govenore for appointment.
