2015 - Municipal Elections

Municipal elections will be held this year for all cities and towns in Utah. A few mayors, and many city and town council positions will be up for election. There are also a few other positions and ballot measures that will likely be on the ballots this year.

The statutory filing period is between June 1, 2015 and June 7, 2015. Because June 7, 2015, falls on a Sunday, the filing period will be extended to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2015.

Candidates wishing to run for a local position may file (in person for most locations) between Monday June 1, and Monday June 8 during normal business hours (until 5:00 pm in most locations).

Our Local Leaders is planning to provide information about as many of these candidates as possible for the primary and general elections this year.
