Congratulations to Casey Anderson, who has been selected to fill the vacancy created by the passing of Senator Dennis Stowell. We wish him the best of luck, and the ability to be effective and smart with his choices in the Utah State Senate.
We would also like to express our appreciation for all of the other candidates who participated in this process. A lot of work was put into a very short amount of time.
It is our belief that government works best when the people are informed and involved.
Of a possible 141 delegates 122 participated in this special election. Their work in studying, and selecting a candidate... or candidates should also be noted.
To Marilee Stowell, again we extend our sympathies. Your husbands legacy will not be forgotten.
Finally a short message to everyone. The work is not over. There are still a lot of things to do, some of which are quickly approaching. One such issues is the redistricting process. Please take the time be involved and informed on this important issue and any other issues that you feel are important.
